Film Transfers

MOVIE FILM - When you bring in your movie film, make sure it is in the sequence you want to view it. We transfer 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm movie film to VHS or DVD

SLIDES & PHOTOS - Lypowy Studio can transfer any 2"X2" slide made from any 135, I110 or 126 film to video. Since you will want all of your slides in a particular sequence, clearly number each slide on its mount. If you are supplying slides in Kodak Carousel Tray, make sure they are ready for projection and in the proper sequence. We can also transfer photographic prints. Photos and slides are transferred in 5 to 10 second intervals. We can transfer any size photo up to 8X10.

VIDEOCASSETTE INFO - Please note that all recording is done in the two hour mode. No recording is done in the longer play mode.

If you want extra videocassette copies (in addition to the initial recording) inform us. We'll be glad to supply them for you at the same time you receive your original.

COMBINATION ORDERS - You can transfer any film or slide combination you wish to videocassette, however, separate formats should be lumped together. For example, if you have a 200 foot reel of 8mm film and a 200 foot reel of Super 8, there is only one format change. If instead you have four 50 foot reels of 8mm and four 50 foot reels of Super8, and you want to view them in tandem, there will be a total of four format changes. Format changes are currently $5.00 each.

BACKGROUND MUSIC - Background music can be added to any transfer order that does not have its own sound. There is a small additional charge for this service as shown on the price list. If you want background music added, the choices are: easy listening, classical and rock-n-roll. If you prefer particular music as background to your transfer order you may provide your own audio-cassette, or choose from our stock library. You may also audio dub individual songs at $5.00 per song edit.
